From our founder
Tea for people with places to be.
"Plastic-free tea shouldn't require a metal strainer, extra dishes, or extra time.
So I spent two years making a tea bag that doesn't.
Organic tea. Stitched cotton. Grab it and go."
FAQs.
Is Rooted really plastic-free?
Yes! Our bag is 100% unbleached cotton, stitched shut. There is no plastic mesh and no plastic heat seal.
How was Rooted third-party tested?
Rooted tea bags were tested by PolyGone, an independent microplastic analysis lab. The certificate ID is AS10222025. You can read it on our Lab Results page.
Is the tea organic?
Our tea is made in a certified organic facility. Rooted itself is not yet USDA organic certified, so we do not use the organic seal.
How much caffeine is in Green Tea?
Green tea contains natural caffeine. The exact amount changes with the leaf, the water temperature and how long you steep.
Is Mint caffeine-free?
Yes. Our Mint is peppermint leaves and nothing else, and peppermint is naturally caffeine-free.
Can I mix Green + Mint in my pack?
Yes. Every pack except Single comes in All Green, Half & Half or All Mint. Single is one box, so it comes as Green or Mint.
