Convenient like a conventional tea bag, without the plastic! Tastes great too :)

Did not like the taste, I think the tea bags threw off the taste

Love Rooted Tea! It tastes great and I love knowing that I'm not consuming microplastics each time I steep a cup.

So glad to have clean and easy tea!

I drink this tea everyday and it is so tasty! But most important is Rooted has organic cotton tea bags- not drinking all those microplastics. Someone gave me a regular tea bag and it grossed me out- I can’t even use regular tea bags now knowing how much plastic is in them. Highly recommend and thrilled more flavors coming!

Questions.

Is it really plastic-free?

Yes. Our bag is 100% unbleached cotton, stitched shut. There is no plastic mesh and no plastic heat seal.

How was it tested?

Rooted tea bags were tested by PolyGone, an independent microplastic analysis lab. The certificate ID is AS10222025. You can read it on our Lab Results page.

Is it organic?

Our tea is made in a certified organic facility. Rooted itself is not yet USDA organic certified, so we do not use the organic seal.

How much caffeine does it have?

Green tea contains natural caffeine. The amount changes with the leaf, the water temperature and how long you steep. Mint is peppermint leaves and nothing else.

Can I mix flavors?

Yes. Choose All Green, Half & Half or All Mint on any pack of three or more boxes. Single is one box, so it comes as Green or Mint. Mint ships end of October.

How does subscribe work, and can I cancel?

Subscribe and save 15%. Pick delivery every 30 or 60 days. Cancel anytime. There is no contract.

When does Mint ship?

Mint ships end of October. If your order has Mint in it, the Mint ships with it, or in a separate shipment when it is ready.

Shipping and returns

Free shipping on orders over $49. Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout. Every order has our 30-day guarantee: love it or it's free. Questions? Email rootedteas@gmail.com.

Why is a free tote in my cart?

Ritual and Household packs come with a free Rooted Tote. It stays in your cart while a pack of 6 or more boxes is in it. Remove the pack and the tote goes too. If you added a tote yourself, it stays.
